Supreme Court ahead of an expected ruling on birthright citizenship, asserting that the Court’s liberal justices consistently voted as a block while the conservatives did not.

The Supreme Court has already heard oral arguments in both a key redistricting case and the birthright citizenship challenge, with rulings expected to come in the near future. The justices recently ruled against Trump’s tariffs that he imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.

Trump appointed three of the Court’s nine justices, including Associate Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. Some speculation has mounted that either Associate Justice Clarence Thomas or Samuel Alito may retire within Trump’s term, allowing for a fourth appointment.
